Dan’s The Man / Hg2 Playlist

While he is usually splashed across the tabloids for his high-profile marriage to Jade Jagger, Dan Williams is first and foremost a DJ. And a super-talented one at that, having spun records alongside the likes of Mark Ronson, David Guetta and Pete Tong. Dan is now the main man at Jezebel Sound System, his wife’s lifestyle and party brand, where he rocks rooms in cities from London to Los Angeles. House, techno and electronic music were Dan’s favourite flavours at Jezebel’s Pacha residency, but now the versatile DJ plays anything that will get the crowd up and on the floor. We asked Dan what kind of music is emerging from London; “Dirty dance. The likes of cheap thrills and co. Nu disco sounds from the east End of London, and of course dubstep from all over the country  – full of bass and attitude.” With his finger clearly on the pulse, we couldn’t think of anyone better to ask compile a playlist inspired by the recently-launched 3rd Edition of Hg2 London.
