Fashion House / Hg2 MUST-VISIT

In the shell of the Viale Monte Grappa 12 – a neoclassical railway station in central Milan – the creative minds behind the Moschino brand have created a new and exciting hotel experience. The Hotel Maison Moschino is a luxury hotel with 65 themed rooms including two deluxe suites. The designs of the rooms are based around different fairytales and inspire guests to let go of worldly pressures and become enthralled in a world of fantasy and imagination. At least that’s what the press release says. There are sixteen fanciful themes such as ‘Forest’, ‘Sweets Room’, ‘Ivy’ and ‘Blue’, each with their own individual style. In ‘Alice’s Room’, oversized furniture dominates and a large teacup supports the coffee table, while in ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ a 3D wolf sits tucked up under the sheets for the ultimate turn-down service. Meanwhile, the hotel’s restaurant serves up its delicious seasonal breakfasts in shoeboxes and claims to provide tuna inspired by Snakes and Ladders. Although even we’re struggling to work out what that means. Take a tour of the rooms below.
