Winter Warmer / NEWS HUNGRY

What’s cooking good-looking? If dashing Brit chef Tom Aikens is to be believed, a whole new menu at Tom’s Kitchen. To keep in line with warm winter comfort food, Tom has added a slew of seasonal new plates to the already mouthwatering offerings at his Somerset House eatery; starters include celeraic remoulade and butternut squash, honey and sage soup, while mains encompass heart-warming dishes such as venison casserole with cranberries and root vegetable mash. Our favourite, however, is the slow-roast pork belly with paprika chickpeas – sure to fill even the biggest belly. Tom said; “Seasonality and the freshest produce remain key influences when developing new recipes and menus. Since opening Tom’s Kitchen at Somerset House I have worked to ensure we continue to offer the finest British fare. We have a range of signature dishes which continue to feature on the menu, while the changing seasons offer a great opportunity to change and diversify this offer and I hope diners will enjoy the new menu as much as I have enjoyed creating it.” As charming as he is creative, Tom gets our custom every time.
