Seasons In The Sun / Hg2 MUST-VISIT

The Four Seasons has come on leaps and bounds in recent years, with a complete brand overhaul and more refurbishments across its plush portfolio of properties than you can shake a stick at. The latest rethink is at the Four Seasons London, which will welcoming guests back through its doors in December following a £125 redevelopment. General Manager John Stauss said; “Anyone who knew the hotel before will not recognise it once they walk through the door. The property has been gutted and its interior totally reconfigured.” Ahh, yes – the interiors; designed by Paris-based designer Pierre-Yves Rochon (who can also be credited with the new look at The Savoy) the decor is chic, contemporary and very, very British. Particularly stunning is the 10th floor, which has been decked out by architect Eric Parry and features stunning views out over London through floor-to-ceiling windows. Aside from aesthetics, the redesign has also reduced the room count from 219 to 192; in-house Italian restaurant Amarano and a spa have also been added, as well as a three-bedroom presidential suite. We, for one, can’t wait to check in.
