Out Of Africa / Hg2 MUST-PARTY

Those with the munchies head to Momo, a secreted-away restaurant on London’s Heddon Street that prides itself on excellent North African cuisine and killer cocktails. Downstairs, however, is where the real magic is, with a live music venue that keeps diners out well into the small hours; formerly known as the Kemia Bar, the space underwent an intensive refurbishment in 2010 and launched as Downstairs at Momo in March last year. Walls were moved, the bar was elongated (presumably to cater to the increasing number of Londoners propping it up) and the DJ booth was lined with carefully-chosen record sleeves for a look that’s just right. Club nights and live music acts have been queuing up for a chance to play Downstairs ever since, and the venue is proud to announce a brand new line up fresh for 2011. Taking place every Tuesday, Downstairs at Momo has partnered up with Enchanted Tunes to showcase the most innovative live acts from across the world. And with everything played out against such a gorgeous setting, we certainly know what we’ll be doing every Tuesday.
