Admired for its gloriously stylish decor, open kitchen, first rate food and service, Lutyens in Fleet Street stands as one of London‘s most enviable restaurants – and much to our surprise we learn that Lutyens will itself be turning green from Monday 14 to Friday 18 March. Thankfully, this is in fact only in celebrataton of the Irish heritage of David Burke (head chef at Lutyens),  the Franco-Irish menus at Lutyens and to coincide with celebrations of St Patricks Day which also falls in this particular week. Throughout the week, all of the menus in the restaurant will include Irish ingredients and recipes – and the bar will be featuring special Irish oysters and cocktails. A great tip for excellent value can be found in the Menu Compris, carrying the Irish theme in its ingredients over three courses and a half bottle of wine for no more than £40.  The chance to experience unique cuisine in surroundings of great style at such value is something that cannot be missed- and at Hg2 we make it a policy never miss out on a celebration.
