100 Million Dollar Masterpiece / NEWS HUNGRY

The world’s most expensive painting, Pablo Picasso‘s Nu au Plateau de Sculpteur (Nude, Green Leaves and Bust), went on display at London‘s Tate Gallery today. Selling for a staggering $106-million dollars last May, the 1932 masterpiece is now on display for the first time in London and for the first time anywhere since 1961 – minus the security, this is a real treat for everyone in the city.  In personal storage for almost six decades, the Tate Modern is now opening a new Picasso Room dedicated to the Spanish artist and his works upon arrival of this piece. The Tate rightfully regards itself as very lucky to have been given this opportunity to house one of the world’s timeless painted masterpieces. Hg2 recommend getting down there asap.
