Pop-Up Pasta / Hg2 MUST-EAT

Fancy-schmancy food is all very well and good, but sometimes all you really want is good old-fashioned spag bol. And that’s the type of classic dishes you’ll get a Spuntino, the latest opening from Russell Norman of Polpo and Polpetto fame, albeit with a cool, contemporary twist. On 13th April, head chef Rachel O’Sullivan and group head chef Tom Oldroyd will be taking their culinary talents to Andrew’s – a 1950s-styled greasy spoon at 160 Gray’s Inn Road – for the Young and Foodish SpagWednesday Meatball Pop-Up. The menu will be thus: chopped salad; meatballs, tomato sauce and spaghettini; and Wild Turkey bourbon brownie. Spread across three overlapping sittings – 7pm, 7.45pm and 8.30pm – tickets are priced at £40 per person and includes plenty of red wine to wash everything down with. Delish!
