All Bets Are Off / NEWS HUNGRY

Always the good sport, Sir Richard Branson will soon take to the skies as an air steward on a 13-hour AirAsia flight from London to Sri Lanka. Having lost a bet to AirAsia chief Tony Fernandes over a Formula One race, the silver-haired entrepreneur will swallow his pride and serve tomato juice and pretzels to wide-eyed passengers. With the date for Sir Richard’s shift set for 1st May, seats for the flight are now being auctioned off for £4,500 a ticket. Naturally, all proceeds will go to a charity of the two tycoons’ choosing. Passengers will also be treated to in-flight entertainment from comedian James Corden (though quite how funny he is at 30,000-feet we don’t know) and joined be a slew of on-board celebrities. We can’t wait for take-off.
