Angelina Delight / Hg2 MUST-EAT

The rustic flavour of this brand new restaurant tucked in a tiny square a few steps away from the bustling Trevi Fountain is that of a quiet and relaxing garden, with the extra bonus of great food. Sitting on aluminium chairs in a relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by cactuses and violet pots, you can enjoy Angelina all day long, whether it’s for a coffee, a drink, a granita (fruity flavoured crushed ice drinks) or a tasty brunch. The dinner menu changes seasonally, with a good selection of meat courses and pastas – especially recommended are the abundant cacio e pepe and the fettuccine doppio burro in a crispy basket of parmesan. Also good is the Sicilian caponata, a classic sweet and sour aubergine stew, not easy to find in Roman restaurants.
The 2nd Edition of Hg2 Rome is online now and available in print end of June 2011. Browse the Hg2 store here
