Ménage à Trois / NEWS HUNGRY

Finally reopen in Chelsea is The World’s End, comprising no less than two restaurants and a basement wine bar. Why ever leave?! Found at the end of the King’s Road – near La Famiglia, another Hg2 fave – this legendary former boozer now has three exciting venues to brag about. First up is The Scene, an upmarket take on an American diner bedecked with vintage prints, movie memorabilia and black-and-white movies acing as a gorgeous, Hollywood-inspired backdrop. The menu itself is overseen by head chef Wyatt Chevloff, who has created a range of posh North American fare that incorporates luxury steaks, hamburgers and Cajun-style dishes. And to wash everything down with? Shakes and slushies, of course. The venue’s second restaurant is The Summerhouse, a permanent version of the famed Maida Vale pop-up that serves up sumptuous seafood alongside Little Venice Canal ever year (read more here). With fabulous fish served up in bright and breezy surroundings, it’s the perfect interpretation of a British summer. There’s also an adjoining roof terrace, should you want to watch the sun sink behind a row of imposing Chelsea townhouses, sundowner in-hand. The third venue is The Cellar, a candlelit basement bar that serves up drinks ’til late to a crowd of chino-sporting booze hounds. Welcome back, World’s End.
