Calling All Square Eyes / NEWS HUNGRY

Town Hall Hotel are firing all four cylinders this week, what with the opening of The Corner Room by Nuno Mendes (read more here), and now Test Presents; a monthly fashion film club launched by film website Test. Each event will be co-hosted by a special guest who will introduce a film that has inspired their work — the first in the series will by courtesy of designer Richard Nicoll on 23rd June. A screening of Inferno (L’enfer d’Henri-George Clouzot) — an incomplete psychological documentary starring Romy Schneider and Serge Reggiani — will take place in the hotel’s dramatic Council Chamber, and will be introduced with a provocative conservation between Nicoll and Test founder Jaime Perlman and marketing director Alyn Horton. Attending film buffs will also get to ask questions — within reason! — so it’s the perfect place to gain an insight in the world of cinema, and the correlation between fashion and film. To book tickets, go to the website below. Those with square eyes won’t be able to get enough.
