Hendrick’s Unusual Umbrella Emporium runs from 12-15 October and is the Scottish gin makers celebration of the oft ignored and much twirled cocktail umbrella. Hendrick’s boldly claim the time has come around again to see the humble cocktail umbrella regain its rightful place among a good bartender’s accouterments.
The Unusual Umbrella Emporium is a bar cum museum in the heart of central London. From brollies for dogs to parasols for smoking pipes, the Emporium will showcase an array of delightfully peculiar umbrellas alongside a selection of cocktails and cocktail umbrellas designed especially for the occasion by the top bartenders in the UK.
Cocktail designs come from:
- Erik Lorenz, The Savoy Hotel
- Ago Perrone, Connaught Bar
- Marian Beke, Nightjar
- Ryan Chetiwardana, Worship St Whistling Stop
- Thor Bergquist, Experimental Cocktail Club
- Miriam Lorendova, Quo Vadis
- Aaron Jones, Salvatore @ The Playboy Club
