There’s a small shop in Central London selling some very big ideas. The School of Life runs a range of programmes and services which address questions of personal fulfilment and leading a better life. Hg2 is spiritualy fulfilled to annouce we have 2 tickets to give away to one lucky Hedonist.

Enter our special competition and you and a friend or family member can attend either of the next two School of Life events. Choose from:

20 November – Karen Armstrong on Compassion
11 December – Susan Green field on Storytelling

The School of Life was founded in 2008 by a group of writers, artists and educators, including the writer of The Art of Travel, Alain de Botton.

Writer and Philosopher Alain de Botton is in The School of Life.

It runs evening classes, weekends, conversation meals and other events which explore issue relating to Work, Love, Politics, Play, Family and Self, and cover topics ranging from ‘How to be a Better Friend’ to ‘How to Face Death’.
