Fashion film website Test returns to the screens a week today in its collaboration with renowned designer Roksanda Ilincic – we love her amazing jumpsuits.
A Central St Martin’s graduate, Ilincic’s beautiful evening wear pieces fuse old school glamour with a modern sensibility. She has chosen to show and discuss as one of her influences the controversial 1974 film The Night Porter. Starring Charlotte Rampling and Dirk Bogarde, this dramatic film focuses on the sadomasochistic relationship between a concentration camp survivor and her former captor and lover. (In the light of Zac Goldsmith’s recent Auschwitz comment to the Leveson enquiry, this seems a particularly poignant time to revisit the reality of the time.)
The film will screen on Tuesday 13th December at 7.30pm at the Council Chamber Screening Room, Town Hall Hotel, Bethnal Green, with complimentary drinks from Peroni and an after film Q&A session with Ilincic.
